I got a letter in the mail. The real mail, like with a stamp! Rarely does the postman bring so much joy.

When she says "Hearts," she means "Duck and Leek Hearts" |
Joy that slowly simmers into jealousy, then back into joy. This menu is
another crazy one from the Brits, who seem to be trying really hard to change their national stereotype of a
bad-food-enjoying people. Or it might just be that C only goes out to extravagant Brit meals...

Yes, it's from June. It travelled all the way across the pond! |
It's written on stationery, which added to the nice effect of being sent via snail mail. The restaurant is symbolized by a flying fish centaur hobo, as well as a butterfly mussel and a shrimp-toenail clipper. C pointed out a few mistakes (perhaps last minute changes?) and yet I'm still stuck wondering: What is Cod Tripe? How do they make Mushroom Floss? Brill? I think after 9 courses, one would imagine herself in a tiny fairey
wonderland where down is up and Maple is frozen. But I guess that's just London for ya.
