My favorite thing about this menu is also what fills me with guilt at having taken it from the restaurant, a lovely little touristy gem on Santander Street in Panajachel, Guatemala. The little pictures you see are actually cut and pasted into the menu from actual photos of the restaurant's food. I know it's a lengthy booklet, but check out the pic on the last page to get a nice view of the restaurant from the 80s.

I was super excited to eat vegetables here after weeks of only fried meats and tortillas. Plus, there's a tree growing through the restaurant, the tranquility of which offsets the hordes of child street vendors who descend as you dine. Plus they sell this amazing cigar-shaped pure chocolate from San Pedro, and I just couldn't get enough. See the picasa album for the full menu selection (it's extensive!).
"Mushas Gracias" means Thank You at the Fire llama Deli!
