Perhaps the most ridiculous menu of all time; I challenge you to find a more substantial, diffuse, inventive menu anywhere in the world.
In a move out of character for me for this site, I have taken the menu from the restaurant's
website. I fear that if I were to remove the menu from it's home, I might be banned from the establishment permanently. You see, the mercurial owner is the subject of much city lore (and
attention), and his manner of managing and serving food are what you hope for and fear in a New York City diner. I want to try everything on the menu, but I would surely die.
