The menu at Momofuku Milk Bar is almost as exciting as those of the other David Chang spots in the area. Riddled with "TM"s and organic footnote asterisks, the odd assortment of breakfast foods, rich desserts and dim sum items makes for a great pre- or post- meal drive-by (as well as for interesting reading). Being more of a savory person, I was a little intimidated by the Crack Pie, but the Compost Cookie was the best cookie I've had in the city. I thought I would always be tempted away from desserts by pork buns, but the Compost Cookie haunts my dreams, and fantasies of the Crack Pie have begun to infiltrate my savory sensibilities. Until I can come here for a dessert dinner (in lieu of real food), it will have to remain a mystery (though my sleuthing reveals it contains at least a pound of butter per bite). The cereal milk soft serve taste exactly as it sounds.
