Candela's Coronado

The light in the crown
San Diego’s food scene: it pretty much amounts to fish tacos, that’s what you eat in San Diego.

But across the bridge, in Coronado you eat the view.  Fortunately, there’s a restaurant set up to take in the view while you’re getting good California cuisine.  Thinking, "beach-body summertime," I’m just in the mood for salads all the time these days.  Candela’s hit that mark, with paleo options (how San Diego)- but I wandered astray and went for the ceviche.  It was the next best thing to a fish taco, minus the taco.

An overall tempting menu; healthy light Mexican options with exotic twists.  Oh to be close to both the border and the water!
Mexi-healthy fusion!

Artichoke hearts, hearts of palm, ceviche: these are a few of my favorite things.

$5 drink specials exist everywhere but NYC
